Welcome to the website of Christ's College Music Society (CCMS), founded in 1710 by a small group of music enthusiasts, and now an integral part of the College community, welcoming both musicians and enthusiasts alike. Great St Mary's Concert - 3rd March 2012
CCMS's annual concert is taking place at Great St Mary's Church in Cambridge on Saturday 3 March at 6pm. Alumni are invited to attend. The programme runs as follows:
- Prokofiev Symphony No.1 ('Classical')
- Mozart Flute Concerto in D
- Interval
- Mozart Requiem
Tickets will be £8 in advance from Helen Simpkiss (mhs38@cam.ac.uk), or £10 on the door.

Alumni are also invited to come and perform in the concert with the current members if they wish to. Interested alumni should contact Kerri-Anne Edinburgh (Chair of CCMS) kae30@cam.ac.uk for further details so that she can arrange the necessary music to be sent to you. Those interested in taking part in this fun opportunity will need to be available to attend a rehearsal on the day. String players are especially encouraged to come and join in!
As the concert is at an early time, dinner arrangements are being made at a restaurant afterwards. If you are interested in joing the CCMS members for dinner, please inform Kerri-Anne on the details above.
